Perledo: a natural balcony over the central lake for supporters and fans
This guide is part of UTLAC’s The Area section and is intended for those arriving at Lake Como to race, support an athlete, or turn the event into an opportunity to discover the area with their families.
Perledo is one of the smartest places to highlight in UTLAC’s editorial project because it brings together views, history, moderate elevation, and proximity to Varenna. From here the lake changes perspective: no longer only a shore, but a natural balcony above the central lake, with a landscape opening toward Bellagio and the western shore.
For supporters who do not want to limit themselves to a technical stop, Perledo offers a great deal: villages, small hamlets, trails, access to Castello di Vezio, and the possibility of creating a small cultural and scenic itinerary even in just a few hours.
