The race
UTLAC 30K crosses some of the Larian Triangle’s most characteristic landscapes, combining historic villages, panoramic trails, and demanding climbs.
Starting in Bellagio, the route follows the Sentiero del Tivano toward Monte di Castel di Leves and Rifugio SEV, then descends through San Tommaso and Malgrate to Lecco.
The course is not marked by kilometer. Follow official flags and course markings precisely; any shortcut results in disqualification.

The maximum time to reach the finish is 8 hours (by 17:15).

If arriving after 13:15 at the Valbrona sports center, this is the collection point for shuttles returning to Lecco.
The shuttle will depart at h13.30.
The bags of competitors who withdraw will be available at the finish in Lecco.
Any competitor withdrawing from the race outside the designated points must arrange their own return and immediately report their withdrawal by SMS or telephone to the number communicated during the briefing, releasing the Organization from all responsibility in this regard.
In case of withdrawal, it is of course possible to return independently to the finish (except in cases of objective danger), promptly notifying the organization at the number communicated during the briefing.
To protect participants’ health, medical personnel at checkpoints or along the route are authorized to stop any competitor deemed unfit to continue the race.
In this case, the competitor must follow the medical personnel’s instructions, under penalty of immediate disqualification.
Race staff are in any case authorized to penalize improper conduct with disqualification.
Art. 7 AID STATIONS AND LIFE BASES / WATER POINTS
The race is run in semi-self-sufficiency, with a mandatory water reserve of at least one liter and a minimum food reserve.

Take waste with you down the mountain (Think green!), under penalty of disqualification.
Bottles or CamelBaks may be filled with water only.
When leaving each aid station, runners must have the amount of water necessary to reach the next aid station.
An additional food and drink aid station will be available at the finish.
There are occasional fountains along the route where water may be refilled.
Mountain huts along the route may be used.
Any purchase of extra food or drinks at mountain huts is the competitor’s responsibility.
Art. 8 RUNNERS’ BAGS
At bib pickup, each competitor will receive two labels bearing their bib number
- one to attach to the bag supplied by the organization, which they may keep during the shuttle journey, hand in at Bellagio before the start, and find again in Lecco

Competitors are advised not to place valuables in the bags; in any case, the organization is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to bags or their contents, as expressly accepted and declared accepted by the athletes/participants signing these rules.
Bags may be collected at the finish in Lecco upon presentation of the race bib.
